In the 18th and 19th centuries, Medfield was home to notable artists (John Jesse Francis, George Inness, John Austin Sands Monks and Dennis Miller Bunker), composers (Charles Martin Loeffler and Lowell Mason), and writer Hannah Adams.
Today, our community supports historic properties, open spaces, and a wide variety of visual and performing arts groups and events. Some are free, some are always open, and some have limited hours.
