Farm-to-Table Restaurants, School Lunch Programs, and “Let’s Go Farming” Conclusions

View the final segments of “Let’s Go Farming” on local cable television and over the internet.

“Farm-to-Table” includes interviews with owners, managers, and chief chefs at three nearby restaurants:  Josh Foley at Avenue in Medfield, Josh and Jen Ziskin at Heritage of Sherborn, and Kristin Canty at Woods Hill Table in West Concord.  We hear how farms in the area are providing vegetables, fruits, meats, and poultry products to these restaurants enabling them to offer environmentally sensitive, extremely fresh, high nutritional value, and creative dining options.

School Lunch Programs” returns to Medfield High School to talk with Dawn La Vellee, Food Service Director and students to learn how local produce is being integrated into the daily lunch program offering students and staff with healthier lunching options.  This show also concludes with a summary of the entire six-part series underlining the main benefits of local agriculture.
